Spike Lee and Jordan Brand are at it again with another Spike-inspired sneaker. Their last collaboration was the Air Jordan Spizike that got many different colorways and was a hit. The Spizike pulled elements from Jordan sneakers in its design, but they decided to go a different route this time. The Air Jordan Spike 40 pays homage to Spike's 40 Acres and a Mule film production company in name, while Nike Air branding hits the heel. Instead of a mash-up of past Jordan signatures, the design stands out on its own completely separate from the Jordan archives. It wouldn't be a Spike Lee joint if it didn't feature him right? We get a unique and bulky lace lock that features Mars' face for good measure.
